Penticton Beach Cruise

Yesterday, Randy (my husband) and I rode over to Penticton. Penticton is about 1 hour 15 minutes east of Princeton. We went to the Penticton Beach Cruise. Their website is: http://www.peachcitybeachcruise.com/ If you enjoy classic cars this is the place to go! There were more cars this year compared to last year. The one thing I saw and really liked was the "T-Rex", http://www.go-t-rex.com/ . This is a unique vehicle!

At the suggestion of "The Dean", we went for dinner at the "Hooded Merganser" located at the Penticton Lakeside Resort. (website: http://www.hoodedmerganser.ca/ ) We had a great but messy appy called spicy chicken tacos and a fantastic burger! If you go to Penticton I suggest you have a meal here.

So far, a great weekend! This is one of the many reasons I love Princeton. If you want to have a "day vacation" you don't have to go very far!
